Leading product design for Fat Finger Data
What is Fat Finger Data?

Fat Finger Data is company that conducts polls on current events via an app, publishing the results in real-time with the aim of fostering participation in and awareness of public opinion.

The company's app was built in 2012 and was a bare-bones survey taking platform with limited capabilites and functioning.

Where I Came In

I led the design process for the company's new mobile app, taking the app's redesign from concept through launch and beyond, partnering with the founder as well as an outside agency to make it all happen.

Notable highlights include creating five new features–a profile with user attitudes calculated using answers to polls, a "treasure chest" of information in the past poll results, a search for the past data, "on this day" showing past poll results from the calendar date, and including images with the polls–as well as giving structure to the app by building an intuitive information architecture, and breathing life into the app's user interface.
